As Food Provisioning and Logistics Manager Paul Read is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day running of Narthex’s food provisioning operations. This includes the Tyseley warehouse, Sparkhill Foodbank, Narthex Food Hub, and our network of satellite food banks and pantries. Pauls role ensures efficient inventory management, order fulfilment, logistics and distribution, food donation strategy, and safe work practices.

Paul has many years of warehouse and logistics management experience behind him and is passionate about continuous leaning and continuous improvements.

Paul has a real desire and passion to help people and takes great satisfaction when he can support others with their needs.

Outside of Narthex Paul enjoys spending time with the family, cooking outside, eating out and when he is not in his local coffee shop he be found going on adventures with the family dog called Ted.
