Nita Upadhyay has been working for Narthex since 2016. She earlier worked with Ageing Better – a project aimed at reducing loneliness and isolation for older people, which she really enjoyed. Nita currently helps Narthex with community engagement, as well as helping it to meet its financial goals through fundraising. With a Masters’ degree in Counselling Psychology she has previously worked in project management on mental health awareness projects in the voluntary sector.

Before steering her professional journey to the Charity Sector, she worked in the field of media. Nita enjoys being creative and her passion includes gardening, films, spending time with her family and friends and listening to music, especially Prince!
